Summary

Provides daily oversight management of Education and Community Programs. Establishes and maintains relationships with internal staff, physicians, and leadership as well as community contacts.

Job Description

The Manager of Community Programs assists in the coordination and implementation of grant projects, service agreements, and contracts to help assure the success of the program. Manages and inspires staff carrying out programs and services operated under Community Programming Department. Interprets and evaluates program data. May assist in developing Return on Investment studies with Finance, and assist in managing department budget. Engages in quality improvement measures, and evaluates and makes improvements based on current data. May plan budget for special projects, coordinate payment processing and
reconcile final reporting. Works collaboratively with internal and external service partners and departments. Accountable for attainment of department goals by monitoring and managing work volumes to achieve desired goals. Provides leadership in service excellence to department employees in areas of responsibility. Responsible for the interviewing, hiring, discipline of employees and any other personnel issues that arise. Completes performance appraisals. Exercises good judgement in determining the best method for handling a variety of situations. Enhances customer service skills of employees by educating and mentoring service excellence standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Three years of relevant management experience required.

Valid driver’s license required. Must maintain good driving record.
