**JOB SUMMARY**
As an integral part of the APEC Compensation & Benefits team, the Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Manager will support C&B operations for APEC. This role will serve as the primary contact for all APEC C&B needs, ensuring alignment with Marriott’s compensation philosophy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
+ 5-8 years of solid compensation and benefits experience. Consulting and project management experience is advantageous.
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of customer service.
+ Proven ability to interact effectively as a team member or consultant with all levels of associates.
+ Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
+ Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Daily C&B Responsibility for GMs in APEC**
+ Manage the GM Compensation Proposal, Offer Letter, and IPAF preparation.
+ Maintain accurate and current documentation of GM compensation information.
+ Partner with Area HRs and Managers for C&B communication at the property level when required.
+ Collaborate closely with the Global team to supervise benefits in APEC.
**Compensation & Benefits Survey in APEC**
+ Drive the corporate office and property-level surveys in APEC, overseeing data collection and validation to meet timelines.
+ Analyze survey results for market trends and participate in survey-related calls and meetings.
+ Conduct annual reviews of GM and Executive Committee salary structures to ensure market competitiveness.
**Annual Compensation Cycle in APEC**
+ Execute the annual compensation cycle, including salary increases and short-term incentive plans for both corporate and property roles.
+ Ensure proper tracking and documentation of owners' approvals and consolidation of statistics
**Other Projects**
+ Involve in C&B projects in APEC, as and when required.
+ Ensure strict adherence to the property-level C&B governance model, including streamlining C&B workflows and process improvements.
+ Reports to the Senior Director, Compensation & Benefits, APEC and will interface regularly with other members of the HR team.
