MAG Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the company’s Compliance Department. MAG Aerospace is a leading aerospace defense contractor, with an international reach, serving the United States and allied countries. The Compliance Manager will report directly to Senior Legal Counsel and ensure the company’s adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies, while encouraging and supporting a culture of integrity and business growth.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:
Be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s Compliance Department.Lead and administer the company’s Third-Party Risk Due Diligence Program, which includes robust risk analysis on a range of domestic and international vendors and partners, factoring in regulatory, industry, and international risks into the assessment. Serve as a key business advisor to senior leadership by creating effective risk management strategies for operations.Ensure business operations are aligned with US and international regulations, including but not limited to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements, Anti-Boycott regulations, and other relevant compliance standards.Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, enforcement actions, and litigation to proactively address potential compliance challenges. Maintain comprehensive policies, procedures, and training that are inclusive of all standards for a leading aerospace defense contractor.Prepare and present regular compliance reports to Senior Legal Counsel and the C-Suite.Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and recommend improvements.Work closely with Senior Legal Counsel to formulate international regulatory compliance plans for OCONUS operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and operations to ensure integrated compliance practices. Develop, review, maintain and update company policies and procedures to promote ongoing compliance with laws and regulations. Serve as a key advisor to senior management on compliance and ethical issues, providing guidance and recommendations. Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization. Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes, continuously and proactively improving the compliance program. Manage and support the Ethics & Compliance team. RequirementsKnowledge and Skills
3-5+ years of relevant professional experience in compliance, and/or risk management in the government contracting space. Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and audits.Must have knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related professional/company standards as well as applicable federal, state and/or local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.Strong knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Robust familiarity with defense industry codes and standards. Must have experience in administering due diligence. Must have the ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectivesMust have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Must have high ethical standards and integrity.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in compliance, law, human resources, business and/or related field or equivalent work experience.
Desired Requirements
Experience in leading an Ethics Program.Special Note

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD).
