Position Summary

The Manager –Consumer & Market Intelligence will be responsible for providing critical insights to inform marketing strategies and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research, data analysis, and consumer behavior, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Analyze market data to provide insights on market size, growth potential, and key drivers. Develop and implement consumer research initiatives to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Utilize advanced survey instruments (eg Qualtrics, Toluna) to design and field surveys. Synthesize complex data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights. Present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner. Provide recommendations based on market research and data to optimize marketing campaigns, product marketing, pricing, and digital marketing. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Ensure data accuracy and consistency. Work closely with other departments within marketing, as well as, operations, customer experience, and finance, to align on business objectives and ensure insights are integrated into decision-making processes. Manage relationships with external research vendors and agencies. Oversee the design and execution of research projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Manage syndicated share data providers such as NielsenIQ and Circana. Design and manage competitive intelligence studies using third parties for mystery shopping and scraping. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in market research and consumer insights. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance research methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in market research tools and software (e.g., Qualtrics, Toluna, SPSS, SAS, Tableau). Experience managing syndicated share data providers (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with marketing department transformation preferred. Customer service oriented, recognizing the importance of client services. Exercises excellent professional judgment. Ability to multitask and manage large, complex projects. Adaptable to change in the organizational environment. Demonstrated follow-through and attention to detail. Experience in the services industry, with automotive or retail experience a plus Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including regular travel to corporate HQ
