**Summary**
The Director, Continuous Improvement promotes continuous improvement across the Business Unit/Vertical by leading a team of Continuous Improvement Leads to enhance new and existing operations. The Manager will drive change through data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts, aiming to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. Utilizing data analytics, engineering methods, and lean tools, the Director will identify and eliminate root causes. This influential position involves collaboration with employees at all levels and functions. The Manager will work with operational and Support Center peers to set strategies for engineering and continuous improvement activities.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Align continuous improvement initiatives with business strategy and prioritize projects.
+ Facilitate strategic planning and process improvement events.
+ Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvements.
+ Present continuous improvement results to executive leadership.
+ Participate in business review sessions and provide progress reports on established initiatives.
+ Translate business concepts to local situations and coach on continuous improvement methods.
+ Set continuous improvement goals with vertical leaders and plan budgets with finance.
+ Develop plans to improve service levels.
+ Oversee Quality Management Systems and internal audits.
+ Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events.
+ Identify and implement process improvements and ensure measurable outcomes positively impact the Financials.
+ Track and report on continuous improvement activities and projects.
+ At least 50% travel
+ Ensure bp’s safety, risk, and compliance culture and expectations are met. Prioritize safety in all aspects of the role and support the Believe in Zero safety philosophy.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred. Master’s in Industrial Engineering a plus.
+ 10+ years in Continuous Improvement, Transportation or Fleet Management preferred.
+ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with demonstrated value attainment experience in Leader Standard Work, Visual Management Systems, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S.
+ Management experience of 3-7 years direct management in a Continuous Improvement function preferred.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and Intermediate skills in Power BI, Tableau.
+ Experienced in labor utilization, labor planning, layouts, metrics and labor management systems.
+ Knowledgeable in operations, data analytic, industrial engineering, various labor optimization models for service operations and back-office functions.
+ Familiar with fleet management, vehicle maintenance operations, managed transportation networks, and various equipment types (trucks, tractors, trailers).
+ Knowledgeable HR Processes, including hiring, onboarding, goal setting and performance management.

**Pay Range**
$120,000-140,000 annually - A pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Not all positions posted will have a pay range listed.

**Working Conditions / Physical Requirements**
