What You'll Do:

As the Continuous Improvement & Quality Lead, you will play a critical role in driving Lean Transformation and ensuring manufacturing quality at our Houston plant.

This hands-on position requires you to serve as the subject matter expert in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, while training, coaching, and supporting the plant’s entire team.

You will lead efforts to deploy company standards, implement critical quality controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

How You'll Do It:

Responsibilities:

Drive Daily Management Rhythm (DMR) compliance and train plant leadership on lean tools. Implement and track lean initiatives through KPIs to improve SQDCP metrics. Lead Kaizen activities and guide corrective actions for operational improvements. Support new product introductions and standard work updates. Conduct plant audits to ensure process standardization and eliminate waste. Coach and engage associates to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Manage multiple projects independently and adapt to changing needs.

 

Qualifications:

Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite and quality tools (SPC, error-proofing, etc.). Project management experience with problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and foster teamwork. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). What You'll Bring:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience facilitating Kaizen events Expert knowledge of lean methodologies and tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

Preferred:

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Experience in a manufacturing plant environment 10-25% travel required
