Job Description and Duties
Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager III, Financial Management Branch, the position serves as Manager of the Contracts, Grants and Loans Office at the California Energy Commission (Energy Commission). Responsibilities include: manage the Contract, Grants and Loans Office which is responsible for the administration of all contract, grant and loan agreements, solicitations and invoices, federal agreements and the Energy Commission Agreement Management System (ECAMS) grant management system; provide leadership and expertise to all levels of management on the full range of issues related to the subject matter areas; and participate in policy level discussions to facilitate the Energy Commission’s fair, consistent, and effective funding processes.

Working Conditions
The CEC supports a hybrid workplace model with office-based and remote-centered workers. Limited in-person attendance and occasional travel may be required based on the needs of the division. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to successful performance. This position is remote-centered, which means the incumbent works 50 percent or more of their time from an alternate work location.
