The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts within the Global Patriot program area. This role will support programs within the Multinational portfolio which includes Foreign Military Financing (FMF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers such as Ukraine, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. This area includes production and service efforts that are critical to our international partners and to the warfighter. It is a fast-paced role in an exciting area working with high-performing teams and real-time evolving customer needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for customer communication, contract management, change management, fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The candidate will need to utilize regular application of strong business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand program performance requirements, provide guidance, and influence results in support of program and financial objectives . Additionally, the Manager, Contracts is required to work closely with Program Management and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews, program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, risk management activities, and all other contract related matters affecting the portfolio.
The successful candidate must have a track record of success in FMS contracting for both products and services and have proven knowledge of Contracts policies, FAR and DFARS, proposal, negotiation and contract award process, and contract execution.
This position will be onsite. Applicants should be located within 50 miles of Andover, Tewksbury, Woburn, MA and / or Huntsville, AL.
What You Will Do:
+ Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.
+ Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop business relationships.
+ Act as a lead for the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, as well as general contract administration.
+ Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope.
+ Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise.
+ Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as mitigation of contractual/program risks.
+ Some travel maybe required to support customer meetings.
Qualifications You Must Have :
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
+ Experience in the management of contracts, preferably Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts, for both production and services
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience in compliance with FAR and DFARS, and Global Trade requirements, including ITAR
+ Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence leadership
+ Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust
+ Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining relationships with customers.
+ Business acumen with financial understanding of our business.
+ Ability to think strategically.
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills
+ MBA or Juris Doctor
+ Active US Government DoD Secret Security Clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
