Principal responsibilities

Accountable for the risk and control management in Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking (GB)as the First Line of DefenceSupport business to identify its key risks and ensure relevant controls are in place to mitigate the risksConduct risk and control assessments and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of key controls to gain assurance they are operating in line with risk appetiteCompile risk management reports to facilitate the oversight by Head of CMB as the Risk OwnerAct as the focal point for coordinating audit and assurance reviews with relevant stakeholders and Subject Matter ExpertsHandle adhoc projects and deliver effective communication in relation to business risk and control for driving new initiatives and achieving staff awareness
