This position is responsible for managing building and property maintenance and other general facility services, property workplace experience services and operational plans and strategies to support a holistic end-to-end occupancy experience for Charter Communication employees and visitors across a Corporate managed portfolio. May focus on the day-to-day integrated facilities management practices, operational reliability and effectiveness of property services and building operating systems, oversight of workplace experience services (including internal resources and vendors) and the delivery of hospitality centered services to property occupants. Leads and develops their team to drive a high performance culture that delivers exceptional outcomes.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Responsible for managing robust facilities operational strategies related to the operation and maintenance of corporate locations with the primary focus on customer experience, relevant function, reliability and cost optimization.Manage expense and capital budgets in a manner that optimizes expenditures.Follows a Total Cost of Occupancy methodology and achieves expected results.Manage and ensure proper staffing, completion of facility related tasks and supervision for key building support functions on a daily basis, including building and property maintenance, other general facility services and property workplace experience services.Administer personnel related functions including recruiting, training, coaching, counseling and mentoring staff.Collaborate with and support Finance and other partners related to planning, reporting and managing property financial activities as well as applying and following Charter financial policies and procedures.Oversee vendors to ensure that all related work is performed and completed in accordance with contract, statement of work and Charter expectations.Review and approve invoicing ensuring correct coding and work completion.Manage the work order request process related to all property maintenance, general services and workplace experience services.Collaborate with Corporate Physical Security, Portfolio Planning, EH&S, other Corporate Services teams, Technology and other internal Charter business partners in the development and delivery of a comprehensive occupancy experience.Collaborate with Portfolio Planning and other Corporate Services leaders on local portfolio optimization and planning as well as deliver comprehensive, efficient and best-in-class real estate occupancy and operational experiences and solutions.Manage and support facilities planning including physical layout and space allocation, small office moves, preparation of cost estimates for space allocations, coordination with departments / contractors for reconfiguring space, furniture and equipment.Contribute to a favorable occupancy atmosphere and experience by managing and supporting broad general facility and workplace experience services, including but not limited to event management, site amenities and related services, meeting/conference and training center services, reception and other hospitality type services.Physically inspect and observe all areas of a facility and property on a weekly basis or more often if needed.Perform other duties as assigned.
