About this role:
This role provides guidance and leadership to a team of program specialists in the development and implementation of training programs and tools to support customer-facing Medical Education for BSC Coronary Therapies customers.The incumbent provides clear and concise information to employees and delegates tasks and responsibilities as needed.

 

This is a hybrid position (in office minimum three days per week) with the flexibility to be in Maple Grove, MN or Marlborough, MA. You will have the opportunity to discuss your preferred working location with your Talent Acquisition Specialist.

 
Your responsibilities will include:
⦁    Receives goals and objectives from leadership. Cascades to team ensuring accurate and consistent implementation 
⦁    Assists in the hiring, training, and managing of team. Responsible for creating team culture and ensure the needs of individuals are addressed. Establishes division of workload and revises as necessary based on needs
⦁    Closely monitors employee performance providing coaching and constructive feedback as necessary. Meets weekly with individuals 
⦁    Creates Annual Needs Assessment (ANA) to reflect the needs and priorities of the business and to provide guidance on HCP compensation, program implementation, compliance policies, and address any gaps in customer education. Maintain list of qualified faculty who will assist in providing peer to peer training and education on the safe and effective use of BSC devices.
⦁    Assist in the identification of training centers, vendor selection, and training equipment purchases. Work with vendor management team to submit POs and manage payments. Assist HCP contracting team as required.
⦁    Establishes and fosters strong relationships with cross-functional teams 
⦁    Develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to encourage continued participation and to foster positive relationships between Boston Scientific and clinicians.
⦁    Develops approach, scope, and methodology of training materials to maximize impact and minimize training time by determining the target audience, time and location requirements and other applicable factors.
⦁    Possesses technical aptitude and basic knowledge of BSC Coronary products and systems. 
⦁    Attend events to ensure customer education programs adequately address the intended goals and objectives established by our leadership and cross functional partners.
⦁    Works closely with Medical Education strategists to develop and execute programs and ensure compliance in all our training processes.
⦁    Collaborates with leadership and faculty to define and assess progress towards program objectives, while managing budget and deadlines. Assists with AOP and Strat planning as necessary.
⦁    Remains aware of all changes that may impact training requirements by seeking out information that may change the clinical process and implementing changes or improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.
 
Required qualifications: 
⦁    Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience 
⦁    Minimum 5 years relevant experience in medical device industry or 7 years with advanced degree 
⦁    Experience in planning and conducting training programs
⦁    Proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with physician customers and field reps

 

Preferred qualifications: 
⦁    Knowledge of BSC Coronary products is preferred 
⦁    Experience in developing educational programs and KOL management
⦁    Previous experience in medical device marketing, field clinical engineering or commercial, customer-facing roles

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
