Possessing skills in managing multiple projects and working with stakeholders with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines. They will possess strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. They will also be detail oriented with a focus of accuracy and quality, be adaptable to changing technologies and priorities and have experience partnering with senior executives to define data needs and solutions. This position will be in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment where you will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams. This role will have a strong Business Intelligence component and those with a BI background are strongly encouraged to apply. **Basic Qualifications:** + Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 6 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD plus at least 1 year of experience in data analytics with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date. + At least 4 years of professional data analysis work experience + At least 4 years of programming experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master’s Degree in data science, Statistics, computer science, or a related field + At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience + Strong scripting language experience (e.g. SQL, Python, R) for data manipulation and automation Proficient with Snowflake, Databricks. Proven track record of managing large-scale data projects and delivering measurable business impact + At least one year of experience with visualization tools (e.g. QuickSight and Tableau) + Proficient utilizing and developing within cloud platforms such as AWS for data storage and analytics + At least 3 years of project management experience, including experience with Agile methodologies + Understanding of data architecture, governance, and best practices in data quality assurance + Certification in data analytics tools or methodologies (e.g., AWS Data Analytics, Tableau certified Professionals) Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $163,300 - $186,400 for Data Analysis Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
