This role is responsible for leading the deployment of Artificial Intelligence based solutions within the organization to transform our business through the implementation of data automation systems and the creation of reports that support data-driven decisions across the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as necessary. Data Analysis & BI (75%): + Business partner for NA BI deployment. + Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data and enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. + Perform advanced statistical data analysis using a number of business intelligence tools to determine new trends and patterns in sales, production, customer segmentation, and corporate KPIs to evaluate potential operation changes. + Proactively analyze complex external operational and economic data to quantify the competitive business segments and provides recommendations to sales, marketing and other functions based on intelligence obtained. + Performing predictive modeling projects in house for forecasting sales, detecting anomalies and optimizing the production schedules with focus on machine productivity. + Build, develop and maintain custom data models, dashboards, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support in order to support key business decisions. + Make recommendations for new metrics and data gathering techniques, assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and strategies to improve team performance and measurement in the future. + Creates customized reports, business metrics, and scorecards for leadership review + Partners with technology teams to drive projects to enhance the data infrastructure of the business. + Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables. + Engages in strategic planning and tactical implementation of data analytic activities. + Create culture of data driven (fact-based) decision by posing critical business questions and utilizing advance analytical tools and approaches to yield answers. + Other project types may include, but are not limited to, business intelligence and data analytics, project and program management, technology system implementation, independent validation and verification, and more. 2. AI (25%) + Conduct initial assessment and development road map for AI integration into the organization. + Identify and evaluate AI technologies, tools and platforms that best align with the organization’s goal and objectives. + Lead the development of AI models and algorithms, including data collection, processing and analysis. + Train and educate the workforce on harnessing AI and developing new skills and competencies related to AI technology. + Measure and analyze the impact of AI efforts on business outcomes and making recommendations for improvements and future investments in AI. + Develop and implement best practices for data governance, management and security AI projects. + Ensure legal compliance with ethical and legal considerations related to AI, including privacy REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Market Research or a related field. Master’s degree a strong plus. + 5 years of experience in a data analytics role leading or working with cross functional teams. + 2+ years utilizing one or more of the following: R, Python, or SPSS with previous experience manipulating and drawing insights from large data sets. + Experience with machines learning frameworks. Specialized Skills and Experience: + Strong attention to detail, data analysis skills and ability to manage various data points. + Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development. + Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical test, classifications, etc.) and experience with statistical applications like Stata. + Strong experience with regression, cluster analysis, decision trees, random forests and other machine learning approaches. Knowledge of building and applying machine learning/predictive modelling in real-world use cases. + Basic knowledge of database design and SQL query language. + Demonstrated track record for planning, completing and auditing work; able to see and apply results strategically and systematically breaking down problems or processes into their parts and developing several alternative solutions. + Entrepreneurial minded individual capable of driving key strategic initiatives and supporting intelligent decision making. + Deep understanding of operational processes and analytical skills in querying and analyzing data. + Strong communication skills, able to communicate complex quantitative analysis in non-technical language. Experience communicating the results of analyses with product and leadership teams to influence the strategy of the product. + Strong quantitative skills. Travel Requirement: + 10-15%
