Royal Caribbean Group’s Digital Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Digital Delivery reporting to the Manager, Director, Program Delivery.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary
Position Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and highly organized Delivery Manager to lead our strategic projects. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and constantly evolving environment. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for conducting ceremonies, providing regular progress reporting, and implementing processes and frameworks to drive projects to completion. You may also oversee Project Managers or Scrum Masters to ensure adherence to our standards and processes. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as we are not a purist shop. You will facilitate refinement meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will establish metrics, track progress, identify risks, and create mitigation plans to drive the teams towards their goals. As a well-spoken and natural leader, you enjoy building relationships and tackling challenges with high energy and enthusiasm to make things happen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct or facilitate program or project ceremonies including refinement meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders. Implement processes and frameworks to effectively drive projects to completion. Oversee Project Managers or Scrum Masters to ensure adherence to standards and processes. Establish metrics, track progress, identify risks, and create mitigation plans. Build roadmaps, track dependencies, and tenaciously resolve blockers. Train and coach team members on Scrum and XP-related artifacts (DoR, DoD, User Stories, Story Points, etc.). Lead prioritization discussions and help teams to focus on delivering the highest priorities. Coordinate cross-team dependencies and remove blockers. Assist the Product Manager/Owner in managing the backlog effectively. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Highly organized, with the ability to build roadmaps and track dependencies. Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence. Strong understanding of Lean, Agile (Scrum & Kanban), and Waterfall methodologies. Skilled at training and coaching team members without being pushy. Displays a 'continuous learning' mindset. Capable of leading distributed and remote teams. Skilled at socializing and discussing team dashboards. Demonstrates servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency. Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame.
