The Manager, Digital Marketing- Walmart & Clubs is a key member of our emerging Retail Media Team that will represent all HBI US brands, including Hanes, Maidenform, Bali and Playtex. The role is multi-faceted, and with our Ecommerce channels experiencing dynamic growth, an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, creative eye, and digital marketing background will thrive in this position. Responsibilities include supporting brand marketing, sales and business unit leadership in the development and deployment of marketing plans, media strategy, content creation, and brand initiatives to drive brand consideration, and deliver sales and profit growth on Walmart.com, Walmart stores. The role is responsible and accountable for working cross functionally as well as externally with our various agency partners and media POC’s in our retail accounts. With the rapid shift to online purchasing this position requires broad expertise in the customer purchase journey, including digital marketing, social media, content creation as well as media planning and buying. The ideal candidate should also have a deep understanding of media metrics, and a proven history of using data to drive decisions. This role is accountable for the identification and implementation of digital marketing best practices across Walmart.com to create growth and to position HBI intimates as best in class versus our competition. This role will also support broader marketing and in-store initiatives that will generate demand creation for the total account.

 

Responsibilities

• Drives/participates in the development of marketing initiatives, consumer research activities and advertising, from national brand campaigns to more targeted Retailer activations

• Works cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure plans are executed with business strategy and consumer insights in mind

• Works with analytic partners to identify KPI’s and determine the extent to which media performance delivers on marketing objectives and strategies

• Coordinates marketing communications plans with internal teams to maximize sales and ROI for Hanesbrands’ Walmart.com businesses.

• Ensures brand consistency on Retail.com consumer touchpoints

• Adheres to budgets and assists Digital Marketing team with annual planning and monthly budget reporting

• Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and new technology, sharing knowledge with colleagues

• Contributes to annual marketing planning, quarterly review presentations and sales meetings as directed.

• Serves as central point of contact for marketing on Walmart.com accounts teams, business units, brand teams, as well as digital marketing and media teams.

• Support broader retail marketing and in-store activations to deliver sustainable growth by channel

 

Minimum Education/ Experience

 

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's + 3+ relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

 

Specific Skills or Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. 5+ yrs. work-related experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills and organizational skills. Requires excellent interpersonal skills, experience in successfully dealing with professional colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Keen attention to detail is a must. Computer skills, including a high-level proficiency in the digital space, Excel, Word and Power Point is mandatory. Ability to gain proficiency in new digital techniques is mandatory. Previous experience in brand marketing, analytics, project management, media, ecommerce or sales is highly preferred. Must subscribe to and exhibit highest standards of business ethics.

Performance Measurement: Working with analytic partners to determine the extent to which media performance meets marketing objectives.
