Overview

Digital and eCommerce is at the core of what we do at Pep Boys. Our customers, who know Pep Boys as a leading provider of automotive service, are demanding richer digital experiences to complement the automotive repair services we provide. The SAP Commerce Cloud eCommerce Manager will play a crucial role in planning, developing and managing eCommerce solutions for Pep Boys.

The SAP Commerce Cloud eCommerce Manager is responsible for eCommerce solution strategy, road map and implementing solutions aligned with the company’s business strategy. This resource will also be involved in collaborating with various business teams, managing offshore, onsite technical and Quality Assurance teams to build and maintain new digital eCommerce experiences through our website. Success in this role means having a pulse on what the competition is doing, insight into best digital practices, make proposals and evaluate business proposals to build new eCommerce solutions, provide leadership to the build and test teams and provide continuous improvement to our eCommerce solutions landscape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with business leaders to produce eCommerce strategy and roadmap which is aligned with business needs. Manage eCommerce solution requirements gathering, requirements prioritization, sprint planning and execution. Manage design and Implementation plan with functional and technical teams for agile delivery. Develop expertise in Pep Boys technical solutions as the go to eCommerce resource. Create and Maintain eCommerce projects roadmap. Prioritize defects identified in production into upcoming releases using Jira. Review Cutover Plan and pre- and post-production deployment checklist prior to performing production deployment activities. Partner closely with the Development and QA teams to ensure punctual delivery and superior quality. Supervise the integration of the eCommerce solution with various supporting applications. Create and oversee the movement of data into and out of the eCommerce solution. Engage with external technical teams to construct and uphold IT solutions along with their integrations. Review logs, dashboards, and various reports to anticipate problems and effectively address both identified and existing issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Skilled in Agile and Scrum methodologies, leading cross-functional teams, conducting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensuring on-time, iterative product releases. Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills, able to effectively partner with design, development, marketing, and customer support teams to align product vision and achieve business objectives. Ability to conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity to complex ideas. Demonstrates exceptional abilities in written and spoken communication, organization, and delivering presentations. Possesses excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills. Capable of conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs, guiding product development and feature prioritization. Robust organizational abilities, adept project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. Accustomed to thriving in fast-paced, high-volume multitasking roles and environments, adept at excelling under demanding time constraints. Experience in a high paced, high volume multitasking role and environments, working under tight deadlines. Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, tag management, and pixel integration a plus Designing and Conducting A/B Tests to evaluate hypothesis is a plus.

Experience and Credentials

Over five years of proven expertise as an eCommerce Manager, preferably on SAP Commerce Cloud platform and automotive industry Three to five years of hands-on experience overseeing teams in development and quality assurance. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent required.
