About the Role

The Manager, Engagement Management (Services) will be an expert with the Workday Deployment Methodology and manage a team of Engagement Managers through large to complex global deployments. In this role, you will use broad expertise to resolve multiple complex issues in creative and effective ways and monitor the team’s project delivery. This role will partner with Workday Delivery leadership to ensure successful customer deployments, solution delivery, and issue management. You will also support executive level expectations by providing internal recommendations to management, based on field experience, to enhance operational excellence and the Workday Deployment. 

El gerente de Gestión de compromiso (Servicios) debe ser experto en la metodología de implementación de Workday y deberá liderar un equipo de gerentes de Compromiso en implementaciones globales de gran envergadura y complejidad. En esta función, deberá utilizar su amplia experiencia para resolver diversos problemas complejos de manera creativa y eficaz, y supervisar la ejecución de los proyectos del equipo. Deberá colaborar con el liderazgo de Workday Delivery para garantizar el éxito de las implementaciones de clientes, la entrega de soluciones y la gestión de problemas. También deberá apoyar las expectativas a nivel ejecutivo, y brindará recomendaciones internas a la dirección, con base en su experiencia en el área, para mejorar la excelencia operativa y la implementación de Workday. 

 

Within Workday deployments, Engagement Managers will drive the client implementation and will be involved in the development of several key project deliverables (e.g., charter, project/staffing plan, issue logs, etc.) and work with the Client project manager to resolve issues that stand in the way of project success. The Engagement Manager will also be responsible for managing to the agreed upon budget and delivering the project profitably.

También será responsable de gestionar el presupuesto acordado y garantizar la rentabilidad del proyecto.

Responsibilities include:

Energetically recruit, develop, lead, and retain a diverse team of engagement managers supporting Workday implementations.

Promote a team-oriented, ambitious, and innovative work environment while maintaining and continuously improving the engagement manager onboarding, performance management, and career development process.

Collaborate with delivery leadership to effectively staff engagements and build the skills vital to engagement managers.

Provide guidance and mentoring to engagement managers and drive team and individuals to provide the best customer satisfaction in the industry to deliver on customer satisfaction, references, revenue utilization, and margin objectives.

Become knowledgeable in the Workday product, methodology, and customer requirements by actively providing consulting services and working closely with the project teams.

Ensure engagement managers are adhering to the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday's Implementation Methodology.

Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization through leading and participating in internal initiatives.

Fomentar un entorno laboral orientado al trabajo en equipo, ambicioso e innovador, mientras se actualiza y mejora continuamente el proceso de incorporación, la gestión del rendimiento y el desarrollo profesional de los gerentes de Compromiso.

Colaborar con el liderazgo de entrega para asignar personal eficazmente a los proyectos y desarrollar las habilidades clave necesarias para los gerentes de Compromiso.

Brindar asistencia y mentoría a los gerentes de Compromiso e impulsar al equipo y los individuos para ofrecer la mejor satisfacción al cliente en el sector y cumplir con los objetivos de márgenes, la satisfacción del cliente, las referencias y la utilización de ingresos.

Adquirir conocimiento sobre el producto, la metodología y los requisitos del cliente de Workday mediante la prestación activa de servicios de consultoría y colaborando estrechamente con los equipos de proyecto.

Garantizar que los gerentes de Compromiso sigan las actividades, los procesos y los procedimientos establecidos en la metodología de implementación de Workday.

Contribuir a la dirección estratégica de la organización mediante el liderazgo y la participación en iniciativas internas.

About You

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience project managing Medium and/or Large Enterprise ERP implementations 

Prior consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.

3+ years of experience leading teams as a people manager and/or leading an implementation team working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft or similar cloud based applications.

Experience implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Taleo, PeopleSoft, ADP, UKG or similar applications.

Solid understanding with at least one of the following ERP business areas: Financials, HCM, Payroll, Services Procurement or similar business experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English

Cualificaciones básicas

10 años o más de experiencia en la gestión de proyectos de implementaciones de ERP en empresas medianas y grandes. 

Experiencia previa en consultoría, ya sea como consultor interno o en una empresa de consultoría o software.

3 años o más de experiencia liderando equipos como gerente con personal a cargo o liderando un equipo de implementación trabajando con Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft o aplicaciones similares basadas en la nube.

Experiencia en la implementación de Workday, SAP, Oracle, Taleo, PeopleSoft, ADP, UKG o aplicaciones similares, o haber trabajado con ellas.

Conocimientos sólidos en al menos una de las siguientes áreas de negocio de ERP: Finanzas, HCM, Nómina, Adquisición de Servicios o experiencia en áreas de negocio similares.

Es obligatorio contar con título universitario o experiencia equivalente.

Bilingüe en español e inglés (excluyente).
