How will you make an impact?
Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing a team of structural engineers/specialists within the engineering group Assisting maintenance personnel and management in addressing aircraft damage; ensures backlog of engineering work is kept to a minimum; participates in the review and approval of major aircraft projects; develops engineering analysis with the group; reviews and approves Engineering documents prior to issuance to related functional departments Responsible for handling multiple projects, directs and manages a highly technical group, and assigns work based on ability and knowledge Represents Envoy Air at Manufactures structural meetings. Participates in development of department budget and capital projects as they pertain to aircraft and equipment modifications Participates in development of new company procedures to streamline engineering processes and documentation Must be able to interact and communicate with outside vendors, FAA, and all levels of management within the company Reports daily on the status of aircraft in work for unscheduled structural repairs; collecting hydraulic sample reports and coordinating with maintenance personnel regarding results Able to exercise sound judgment in making decisions and have the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills are necessary in this position Qualifications

Requirements
Minimum age of 18 BS Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university is preferred with four (4) years’ experience in aviation maintenance Candidates may also hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate and have prior structures experience Previous supervisory experience Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, XML, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to format, author, and review professional documents Proven project management experience Knowledge of MSG-3 process and Maintenance Programs development Occasional shift work required Must possess the legal right to work in the United States Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
