We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our Frontend Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with React.js and possess strong skills in PHP, architecture design, performance optimization, and scalability improvements. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic vision to enhance our frontend systems while collaborating closely with backend and product teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence. Architect, design, and optimize scalable frontend solutions using React.js. Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integrations, leveraging PHP expertise where necessary. Drive performance optimizations, improving load times, rendering efficiency, and overall application responsiveness. Implement best practices for frontend development, code quality, and maintainability. Oversee the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering standards. Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to enhance user experiences. Ensure high availability and scalability of frontend systems. Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion engineering excellence. Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Requirements: 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong hands-on experience with React.js, including state management, hooks, and component-based architecture. Proficiency in PHP and experience working with backend APIs. Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalability principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture and API design. Familiarity with modern state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.). The salary range for this position is based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills.
