Manager, Engineering Process Definition & Execution

Job Description:

The Supervisor, Engineering Process Definition and Execution is responsible for maintaining functional processes and procedures and overseeing their execution.

  

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure processes are maintained and organized, with clear ownership assignmentsCollaborate with Quality and Internal Audit teams to coordinate and execute internal and external (IATF/ISO) auditsOversee creation, organization, and maintenance of functional training plans and associated materials, including functional onboardingLead annual functional budget and business plan developmentLead monthly forecast process including reporting performance and variance analysis to senior functional leadershipLead Project/Program Management center of expertise (COE)Lead, coach, and develop a team of specialists responsible for day-to-day execution of creating, maintaining, and coordinating process and training execution

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business; Engineering preferred 

Excellent people & communication skills 

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) 

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred 

Required Experience: 

7+ years product development as individual contributor or project/program manager 

Project/Program manager role in multiple multi-disciplinary projects 

Experience budgeting/forecasting expenses 

Demonstrated history of teamwork and cross-functional leadership 

 

Preferred Experience: 

Engineering leadership/management experience 

Executing in an automotive or commercial vehicle quality (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) quality management system
