Job Title: Manager, Engineering Process Definition & Execution Pay Grade: M2 Job Description: The Supervisor, Engineering Process Definition and Execution is responsible for maintaining functional processes and procedures and overseeing their execution. Key Responsibilities: + Ensure processes are maintained and organized, with clear ownership assignments + Collaborate with Quality and Internal Audit teams to coordinate and execute internal and external (IATF/ISO) audits + Oversee creation, organization, and maintenance of functional training plans and associated materials, including functional onboarding + Lead annual functional budget and business plan development + Lead monthly forecast process including reporting performance and variance analysis to senior functional leadership + Lead Project/Program Management center of expertise (COE) + Lead, coach, and develop a team of specialists responsible for day-to-day execution of creating, maintaining, and coordinating process and training execution Key Competencies and Behaviors: + Customer Focused: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and Respect. + Problem Solving: Looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers. + Building Effective Teams: Defines success in terms of the whole team by creating a feeling of belonging and ownership. + Collaboration: Can quickly find common ground and solve problems with peers with minimal noise. + Attention to Details: Ensure accuracy of financial and compliance information Qualifications: + Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering , science, or business; Engineering preferred + Excellent people & communication skills + Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) + P roject M anagement P rofessional (PMP) Certification preferred Required Experience: + 7 + years product development as individual contributor or project/program manager + Project/Program manager role in multiple multi-disciplinary projects + Experience budgeting/forecasting expenses + Demonstrated history of teamwork and cross-functional leadership Preferred Experience: + Engineering leadership/management experience + E xecuting in an automotive or commercial vehicle quality (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) quality management system Primary Location: Indianapolis, IN Additional Locations: Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
