**Department Overview**
The TD Bank Group Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) Department is responsible for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) regulatory compliance and prudential risk management across the TD footprint. We act as proactive and trusted advisors to TD Business Lines, while supporting a consistent, adaptable, and effective culture across the organization, ensuring money laundering and terrorist financing risks are appropriately identified and mitigated. We direct the design, content, and enterprise-wide implementation of TD’s FCRM Program, which also includes ensuring that everyone both understands and complies with economic sanctions and anti-bribery/anti-corruption regulations. **Job Description**
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise FCRM Governance, the Manager supports the management and oversight of the design and execution of governance committees for the FCRM Department. Key responsibilities for this role include:
+ Develop and maintain mandates and membership for Enterprise FCRM governance committees to deliver effective governance and oversight of key program areas.
+ Coordinate the preparation of materials including key decision and discussion items to raise before FCRM governance committees for enhanced oversight.
+ Manage and facilitate FCRM governance committee meetings in accordance with the requirements of their respective mandates.
+ Collaborate closely, build, and sustain excellent working relationships with internal FCRM Advisory Teams (including senior executives) and business segment partners.
+ Act as subject matter expert and strategic advisor to FCRM governance committee members and other stakeholders by providing guidance on governance related matters.
+ Develop standardized templates to drive consistency and accuracy of the information brought before FCRM governance committees for discussion or decisioning.
+ Apply enhanced visualization techniques to identify trends and themes while providing actionable insights for improved decision-making.
+ Prepare thorough meeting records, including minutes, track decision items and monitoring progress of action items in coordination with committee members and attendees.
+ Escalate key decisions and program updates to the Enterprise FCRM oversight committee, as appropriate.
+ Develop and maintain Governance Committee operating procedures in line with requirements of committee mandates and FCRM program requirements.
+ Manage a dynamic forward-looking calendar of agenda topics in line with the committee mandates and accountabilities.
+ Continuously assess the design and operational effectiveness of FCRM governance committees and identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Demonstrate strong ethics, integrity, and leadership to promote a positive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and synergies.
+ Remain apprised of emerging AML/ATF risks, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
+ Engage in special projects and broader accountabilities as assigned.
**Job Qualifications/Skills/Experience**
+ 7+ years of relevant experience in AML, risk, compliance, regulatory, governance, audit or related areas in the financial services industry.
+ University degree or equivalent preferred.
+ Advanced degree or professional accreditation preferred.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills and the capacity to communicate complex information, adapting to the needs of the executive audience.
+ Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, complex and often ambiguous environment.
+ Strong ability to apply critical thinking and to exercise sound judgement in making decisions and escalating as appropriate.
+ Skills in creating appropriate analysis and reporting, with attention to detail.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reporting to senior executive audiences.
+ Effective stakeholder and partner engagement with a professional approach.
+ Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment and prioritize competing priorities.
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills, relationship building skills, and superior judgment.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
