Position Overview:As the Manager, Enterprise Sales - Americas you will lead a motivated sales team, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will mentor and lead a sales team focused on DigiKey’s Enterprise accounts to maximize performance, while strategically managing sales operations and resources to ensure comprehensive coverage. By developing and executing tailored sales plans and leveraging analytics, you will continuously refine strategies to achieve revenue goals, expand market presence, and improve overall sales performance.

This key leadership position will lead a dynamic team where you will drive digital capabilities alignment with customers to deliver seamless experiences and proactive solutions to deepen customer engagement, increase market share, and grow revenue. As a pivotal leader in the Sales & Support organization, you will champion digital adoption initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and boosting operational efficiencies, ensuring DigiKey remains at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.

This role is based in Thief River Falls or Bloomington, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed. Travel required, at times, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within DigiKey’s Enterprise accounts.  

Lead and mentor a sales team that is a single point of contact for dedicated accounts by providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve individual and team goals while remaining focused on enhancing customer experience and driving digital innovation. 

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.  

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, product management, and operations teams to align strategies and maximize opportunities.  

Utilize business intelligence and market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.  

Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making.  

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify potential threats and opportunities.  

Champion digital adoption initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:  

4+ years of experience in account management, sales, or similar field including 2 yr. leadership experience  

Strong understanding of electronic components, their applications, and market dynamics.  

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.  

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  

Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and strong analytical abilities.  

Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions   

Change management expertise to facilitate the adoption of new technologies within the organization   

Exemplary Microsoft Excel skills 

Preferred Qualifications  

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, organizational behavior, or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience  

Physical Requirements:

Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen  

Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body 

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is:

$65,000

to

$89,400

Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate’s work experience in related roles; the candidate’s knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
