NA PGTM Excellence team is responsible for design and delivery of world-class Meetings & Events that reflect the brand and culture of Nike.
The SR Events Manager role is responsible for shaping the future of Nike events with a focus on North America Marketplace in line with best practices influencing the strategic vision for meetings and events with our key business partners.
The ideal candidate has strong ownership to motivate and develop the team in diverse contexts and act as business partner for internal stakeholders, understand their long-term objectives and proactively design a mid/long-term events strategy to support these objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and inspire a team of event experts to execute high quality Nike event experiencesSet direction, strategy and organizational planning for the NAMP events teamDevelop a framework for high impact end-to-end events and experiences that add strategic value to Nike, including processes, tools, and implementation roadmapsEvolve event tools that enable integrated meetings and events programsCollaborate and network with cross functional teams sharing best practices establishing key relationshipsManage cross functional communications with key stakeholdersEducation & Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing and event management4 years of experience from event management, sales, retail presentation or related experienceHave extensive expertise in event project management, market best practices and insightsStrong communication skills, excellent in stakeholder management and influencing peopleHave strategic mindset for long term vision and planningStrong experience in partner management, contracting and negotiation skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environmentFlexible and able to manage ambiguity in turbulent situationStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to lead and influence cross functional teamsExperience working in a dynamic and fast paces environmentAdditional Requirements
