Job Summary
We are hiring immediately for a Manager to oversee facilities, the equipment shop, and
a fleet. This position is based in our Fremont, CA location, but will also occasionally
work out of our San Leandro, CA location as needed. Please note hours may vary and
some overtime is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain facilities, ensuring they meet standards established by the landlord, and
by company leadership. Act as point of contact for various service providers and
associated internal company staff.
* Maintain shop, including cleanliness and organization. As part of maintaining the
shop, position oversees the ordering of all equipment and parts.
* Oversee all fleet maintenance functions, ensuring compliance with all company
and legal standards. Acts as a liaison with service providers and associated
internal company staff.
* Interprets and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to
promote consistent application and adherence.
* Identify and drive forward facilities, shop, and fleet safety initiatives.
* Position will occasionally interact with clients, along with internal and external
stakeholders; professionalism and courtesy is required.
* Fully own implementation of recommended changes when they arise, either from
internal analysis or from corporate direction.
* General system reporting, record-keeping, and auditing as assigned.
* Maintain compliance with company and legal standards.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are most
important requirements!
* Facilities experience required.
* Equipment shop experience required.
* Fleet management experience required.
* Moderate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite required, namely Outlook, Excel, and
Word.
* Five years of experience in a similar position preferred.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists is required.
* Ability to self-manage and manage others to thrive in a demanding environment
strongly preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
