What You’ll Work On 

The Facilities Engineering Manager is responsible for providing Technical Engineering support in order to maximize the availability of manufacturing and test equipment and providing an appropriate working environment for operations and personnel

Plan, implement and manage all major engineering projects including validation activities, RCE documentation etc. as requiredManage relevant departmental/project budgets within target and implement CIP/BEx projects as requiredProvides technical support and knowledgeEnsure the project meets quality requirements of all stakeholders, including customers, auditors and other external agencies by ensuring adherence to the required policies and proceduresMeasures and reports progress against approved timelinesActs as an effective project leader or team member in supporting timelines, quality disciplines, decisions and practicesEnsure prompt attention of the Project Manager in areas of risk which might have an adverse effect on product and/or safetyEnsure the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety, and the environment.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Engineering with preference for Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering 3-5 years' supervisory experience8+ years' engineering experienceStrong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a regulated industry such as food/nutrition manufacturing, medical device or pharmaceuticalsExperience managing contractor workPowerPoint visual reporting experience

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
