Department Overview:
The TD Bank Group Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) Department is responsible for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) regulatory compliance and prudential risk management across the TD footprint. We act as proactive and trusted advisors to TD Business Lines, while supporting a consistent, adaptable, and effective culture across the organization, ensuring money laundering and terrorist financing risks are appropriately identified and mitigated. We direct the design, content, and enterprise-wide implementation of TD’s AML Program, which also includes ensuring that everyone both understands and complies with economic sanctions and anti-bribery/anti-corruption regulations. Job Description Summary:
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Road to Strong (RTS) Team is the team that develops, articulates and documents the Enterprise Road to Strong (RTS) Program strategy. The RTS team develops, articulates and documents the strategy to implement the Target Operating Model (TOM). The RTS team leads the Enterprise RTS Program for Canada and TDS; Accountable for the end-to-end product roadmap.
CUSTOMER
Manage a team of FCRM professionals providing oversight and control related advisory services to FCRM partnersProvide guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achievedWork with executive team, senior business management/ partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies and programs to effectively manage regulatory/ compliance issuesAct as key liaison with partners and external groups and provide FCRM subject matter expertise; partner, as necessary, effectively with key stakeholder groups such as Compliance, Legal, Audit, RiskCoach to ensure functional/ operational problems are handled appropriately, and participate in the negotiation and resolution of complex and/or escalated issues, where necessaryLead and develop FCRM enterprise-wide frameworks, methodologies, policies, standards, procedures in coordination with management in line with TD’s FCRM ProgramParticipate in / Manage global regulatory examinations and external / internal audits with respect to request for information regarding portfolio, reviewing, packaging and providing information for department executiveTake corrective action and recommend or implement changes to procedures, as requiredSHAREHOLDER
