Manager Financial Analysis

 

Job Overview:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional Financial Analysis Manager with a Revenue focus to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a key member of the team, this individual will be responsible for managing, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to provide valuable insights that support decision-making across various business functions. Additionally, they will participate in annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, financial trends and data analysis to senior management. This is an opportunity for a high-performing, innovative and analytical individual to apply a solid understanding finance.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

Revenue and Market Analysis: Collaborating with operating teams to identify factors affecting revenue and analyzing key indicators related to changing market conditions. Reporting and Presentation: Preparing and presenting monthly reports to management, providing insights into trends, opportunities, and risks based on analysis of sales data, market research, and billing records. Specialized Reports and Financial Models: Assist in creating and maintaining specialized reports, profitability analyses, and other financial models related to revenue, pricing, forecasting & budgeting using tools like Microsoft Excel, Vena, Process Improvement Projects: Leading special projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting process efficiencies and performance by ensuring data accuracy and consistency while recommending improvements. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with various teams and management to ensure accuracy in financial and ad-hoc reporting, forecasting, and supporting business process improvements. Team Support: Providing backup and guidance to team analysts, ensuring smooth workflow and collaboration within the team. Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct. Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred but not required; minimum five to seven years related experience. Annual planning/budgeting experience required. Preferred, but not required, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vena, and Power BI. Managerial experience a plus. High degree of business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable recommendations and analyses Ability to use organizational skills to prioritize tasks, take ownership of various projects, and shift priorities based on changing workloads and communicate effectively and efficiently with members of the team and throughout varying levels of the organization Capable of independently managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a high level of precision but also comfortable with ambiguity Versed in working with varying levels of departmental and market leaders outside Accounting and Finance and able to communicate financial/operational information to different levels of management Exhibits ownership, resourcefulness, and a customer-focused personality with problem solving skills and the ability to think in a proactive manner Possess strong data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

 

 

Travel:

 

Minimal, mainly for training annually or biannually.
