Annual Salary: $90,200 - $110,000
Purpose:
Responsible for providing financial and operational support to the Organization. Primary function includes budgeting, forecasting, completing financial modelling and contributing to key strategic initiatives. Plays a critical role in establishing company-wide standardized business performance measures including key performance indicators (KPI’s) as well as supporting on ad hoc projects supporting Sales, Supply Chain and Operations.
Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to FP&A Analyst(s) focused on reporting. Identify areas of improvement in reporting, increasing accuracy, timeliness and profitability. Provide ad hoc analyses for Canadian Leadership team. Establish, maintain and promote consistent methodology for implementation of analytics. Standardize and improve forecasting procedures with the goal of improving accuracy. Perform financial analysis and modeling, budgeting, forecasting, internal reporting and analysis across divisions. Direct the development of operational budgets. Work closely with key business leaders to define critical information needs, providing guidance regarding availability of data, and data matter expertise regarding current financial systems. Communicates cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations. Lead financial analysis on several key projects covering Finance, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain. Responsible for key financial reporting to all areas of the organization. Performs other relevant job duties as required.Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with a CPA designation or MBAExperience:
7+ years of relevant work experienceKnowledge:
Highly motivated individual who will aggressively pursue knowledge of the business to produce better and more useful information to support decision making process. Strong experience with accounting, financial planning, reporting, and analysis, process re-engineering and system implementations, internal controls Excellent analytical and modeling skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts such as discounted cash flow and valuation methodologies.Skills & Abilities:
Advanced financial modeling, and analysis skills. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
