Position Summary:

This 206,878 square-foot facility, located in the Philadelphia area is Catalent’s global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply Packaging.  Catalent offers GMP secondary packaging and clinical labeling services throughout our global network. Packaging can be configured to hold a single product, or multiple products as determined by study requirements. We offer manual patient kit assembly along with semi-automated and automated wallet sealing and high-speed automated carding to meet the needs of studies of all sizes. For temperature sensitive products and those with minimal to zero allowable time out of environment, we can perform secondary packaging in refrigerated and frozen packaging rooms or over dry ice depending upon your project needs.  Using our Clinicopia global labeling system with its multi-lingual label phrase library we can design single panel, booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID™ safe storage labels for your studies. Single panel and Peel-ID™ safe storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our facilities.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis.  The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, is responsible for providing financial analysis and financial planning to the business unit. The role provides financial visibility and guidance to the business unit to anticipate the risk and opportunities to take decisions upon the delivery of the expected financial targets. 

This is a full-time, salaried role.   This is onsite.  This position is a 1st Shift role. The core hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

The Role:

Lead monthly accounting, forecast & reporting processes to ensure that Corporate, Business Unit, and Site objectives and timelines are metSupport the Manufacturing Accounting process; managing work orders, routers and costing deliverables Coordinate inventory related activities with management and Inventory Control, including analysis, reporting, annual wall to wall inventory count, cycle count activities; inventory adjustment needs; and help ensure overall inventory accuracy; Maintain a collaborative relationship with inventory control and supply chainAssist the General Manager and Director of Finance in establishing metrics, performing budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial/operational analysis related to fixed asset purchases, base cost management, working capital management, headcount control, and operational performanceAnticipates and identifies key variables that predict business performance and recommends process improvements based on data analysis to reduce costs, streamline work processes, and improve profitabilitySupports the operations and engineering teams with the financial analysis, write ups and submission of any CAPEX requisitionProvide revenue recognition guidance and financial analysis support to the Finance Director and VP of Finance when quoting new projects or evaluating non-standard circumstancesAll other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Master’s degree in Business, Finance or similar preferredFive+ years of experience in accounting is requiredThree+ years of experience in similar position modeling financial scenarios and forecasting financial variables including analysis and evaluation of business activities is preferredBudget modeling skills requiredExperience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with JD Edwards is a plus; experience in any other major ERP is requiredDemonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experienceIndividual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
