POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Financial Systems - Epic Professional Billing will provide direction, day-to-day coordination, and HR responsibility to the members of the application team. The Manager will have overarching responsibility for Resolute Professional Billing and Professional Billing Claims Information Technology (IT) applications' support, design, instruction, and ongoing optimization. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to direct management of analysts, identifying and mitigating project risks, supporting the applications users and assisting in the implementation of all application projects. Responsibilities Works with Digital, Data, Technology, and Innovation (DDTI) leadership team to collect, analyze and document technical, clinical, or business operations artifacts and translate problems into solution-oriented initiatives. Provides mentorship to team in areas of application support and leadership development Responsible for defining work assignment and workload management for team(s). Provides technical guidance to identify system deficiencies and analyze system problems and solutions. Collaborates with business stakeholders to introduce innovative solutions. Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings. Creates functional working relationships across application teams. Assists with departmental budget planning and resourcing. Qualifications Education & Experience: BA/BS degree (equivalent experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis). Minimum of 7 years’ experience - IT applications support in Resolute Professional Billing or Professional Billing Claims. Minimum of 5 years in IT implementing and supporting applications. Established experience with large scale/large projects with team of 5 or more members. Experience developing the following items with Project Management: (1) Standard work breakdown structure; (2) Resources and critical path; (3) Project scope; (4) Issues identification and oversight; (5) Change control processes; and (6) Stakeholder communications. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in information technology management, preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ Service Now experience, preferred. Experience designing and supporting healthcare or business systems and integration with third party applications, preferred. Strong understanding in the areas of application technology, architecture, database, and system design. Experience with workflow and operations within a hospital or health system, preferred. Epic certification required – Resolute Professional Billing Administration or Resolute Professional Billing Claims Administration. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be willing to participate in on call rotation schedule. Ability to travel up to 25%. Proven ability to understand business issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions. Strong understanding in the areas of application technology and system design. Understands federal & state regulations pertaining to applicable business area. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video-conferencing solutions. #LI-AG1
