We're hiring! We are looking for a Manager to join our FSPG team in KL, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like
Responsible for the overall broking support, assist in driving new business growth and administration of the broking duties in centralization of all transactional processing and ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all assigned tasks.
Deliver Financial & Business Growth Objectives
+ Focus on increasing existing market share and driving growth on the FSPG Portfolio year on year
+ To have oversight of the renewal business portfolio of the FSPG department.
+ To conduct placements and renewal presentations to existing clients.
+ To ensure renewal retention in excess of 95%
+ To strive for organic growth / cross selling / upselling of 5% from prior year
+ To complete monthly reporting (RE and PCE) and to contribute to budget planning.
Client Management/Satisfaction
+ Drive and meet client service, claims management and advocacy on existing clientele and new client acquisitions objectives.
+ Develop and expand on existing client’s portfolio.
+ Provide risk advisory and consultancy to existing clients and prospects/new clients relating to FSPG and Cyber solutions.
+ Identifying client needs and requirements and tailor insurance business solutions to client’s needs.
+ Contributing to material insights, collaterals, whitepaper in FSPG and Cyber areas of solutions
+ Build broking and placement strategies with Carriers/Insurers
+ Work with Insurers on tailored insurance solutions as client’s advocate
Aon OpEx metrics
+ Ensure compliance in the areas of Aon Client Promise, Asia Brokers Guide, Contract Penetration and Certainty, Data Quality Management, Invoice Performance, Overdue Renewals, Time Recording System, Standard Commission Grid variance approval/escalation process, Fee Review Process.
+ Ensure improvement of Receivables >60days through local KPI setting and continue to complete timely and accurate monthly / quarterly reporting i.e. forecast, pre-close estimate, revenue walk.
+ Ensure Client Profitability, further reduce impact of profit destroyers (profitability scorecard and escalation process)
Execute Aon United Blueprint
+ Deliver Aon United – support Aon United Growth Plays
+ Support in country Aon Business Services (ABS) agenda. Work closely with CPU team on invoicing and various processing functions for FSPG Solutions lines and enforce data quality management.
+ Aon Colleague Mission / AIM – shaping a high-performing Aon United culture:
+ Build talent pipeline and bench strength in country and drive succession planning for key roles within the team (AIM, Aon IQ platform, My Learning)
+ Career development planning for high potentials
+ Participation of local and regional training and development initiatives, including Aon Client Management, Aon Signature Programs, Talent Engagement initiatives, Empower Results event and the like.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Education & Qualifications / Expected Experiences
+ A degree in any discipline – preferably LL.B, Economics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or ACII
+ Mature individual with at least 3-5 experience in the Insurance industry as broker and/or underwriter
+ Fluent in English and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia
+ Operationally efficient and sound
Skills & Knowledge
+ Must have technical knowledge in Financial Specialties insurance
+ Demonstrate proactive-ness and driven attitude in past work
+ Experience in scheme management and large complex risks will be an added advantage
+ Good understanding of insurance across all lines
+ Independent, positive personality
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office application
