Manager, Global Licensing & Partnerships

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme’s focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder’s original recipe. The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.

 

The Manager, Global Licensing & Partnerships at Krispy Kreme will be responsible for managing strategic licensing and partnerships to support global innovation plans and drive revenue growth. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Brand Strategy, this individual must be experienced in brand management, business development, and can cultivate and maintain relationships with cross-functional team members and external partners. This team member will leverage their expertise to identify, negotiate, and execute licensing agreements and partnerships that align with Krispy Kreme's brand values and business goals.

 

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Planning:

Identify and evaluate potential partners and licensing opportunities to expand Krispy Kreme’s brand presence and drive revenue growthCollaborate with key stakeholders in identifying annual licensing revenue targets, and continuously track towards financial goals Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop and update Krispy Kreme branded decks and sizzle reels to strengthen partnership proposals

 

Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential partners, licensors, and stakeholders.Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing and partnership inquiries and negotiations.Facilitate communication and feedback loops between global partners and internal team

 

Negotiation & Contract Management:

Coordinate the drafting, review, and execution of licensing and partnership agreements, in conjunction with legal

 

Project Management:

Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive alignment, successful execution, and overall communication of licensing and partnership initiativesFacilitate regular meetings and updates with internal and external stakeholders to keep all relevant parties informed about updates, timelines, approvals, and marketing initiativesHelp ensure that all relevant teams within the organization (Strategy, Activation, Innovation) are aware of and understand the key terms of each license agreement to ensure successful executionWork closely with brand partners and internal stakeholders on product development and creative approvals to ensure they meet brand standards and quality, in a timely mannerContinuously seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the licensing development and approval processMonitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.Monitor and manage the global licensing review process to ensure adoption and compliance


Reporting & Analysis:

Provide regular updates to management on performance and impact of licensing and partnership activities.Track and report on the financial performance of licensing and partnership agreements.Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and new license opportunitiesHelp shape the overall business strategy based on partner insights and industry knowledge

 

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related area5+ years of experience in growth or strategic marketing, with a focus on partnerships and licensing management - Food & Beverage or QSR industry experience a plusProven track record of developing and implementing successful licensing and partnership initiatives Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders (agencies, internal creative, innovation, etc.) to reach strategic goalsAbility to interface comfortably and effectively at all levels of the organizationStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, work under tight timelines, and react quickly to take advantageous of real-time opportunities Familiarity with international markets and cultural sensitivities is a plus
