**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a **Global Program Manager** for our location in **Santa Clara, CA** in our Abbott Vascular division. THIS IS A FULLY ONSITE ROLE
Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.
As a Global Program Manager, within Abbott Vascular’s Global Training Organization, the individual will work with department and/or cross-functional teams to manage the strategic vision, development, and implementation process of company's Global Training Strategic Imperatives and align them with the strategic goals of the division and organization, while ensuring compliance with Abbott and industry guidelines.
**What You’ll Work On**
**Compliance (On-going)**
+ Ensure Product Training initiatives are created and implemented with a global strategy perspective.
+ Demonstrate an understanding of the SOP/DOP’s that govern projects and initiatives in which GTO would be involved.
+ Maintain & Adapt product training and other departmental DOPs, as needed.
+ Work with marketing, sales training, and quality teams to ensure the teams are working within the parameters of the product training DOPs and to ensure that the DOPs are consistent with current training practices.
+ Participate and / or lead monitoring (“hypercare”) initiatives.
+ Engage with quality on QMSR standards and initiatives and ensure GTO’s compliance by the due date.
+ Create new DOPs when necessary.
+ Assist and be a GTO SME for NCR and CAPA activities.
**Upstream Program Development (Per Project Basis, as needed)**
+ Represents the Global Training Organization (GTO) on the broader strategic teams for new product / indications releases to ensure governance is in place and assigned to support the launch.
+ Ability to represent “the global perspective” for all training initiatives.
+ Engage colleagues within the GTO to advise on Sales Training & HCP Training requirements as the appropriate times.
+ Keep GTO leadership informed of timelines and progress.
+ Liaise with Global ComQA on all HCP and Training initiatives.
**Global Strategic Vision & Communication (On-going)**
+ Interfaces with the global commercial organization to keep commercial objectives to ensure a synergistic approach f the program planning process.
+ Creates global strategy and positioning for Global Training Organization and creates consistent communication stream to the affiliates as needed.

**Education And Experience You'll Bring**
**Required Experience**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
+ Minimum of 8 years of work experience (or 6 years with Master’s Degree) leading programs and projects, and / or participating as the lead for a team within a broader cross-functional team.
+ Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
+ Experience in working within large project groups to achieve a common goal.
+ Ability to exercise good judgment and to work independently.
**Preferred Experience**
+ Experience with OneForce (SalesForce)
+ Experience with SumTotal or similar LMS Training Systems
+ Knowledge of Quality Initiatives and priorities.
+ Previous experience working globally.
The base pay for this position is $112,000.00 – $224,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
