Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Manager to lead our Google Analytics and tagging initiatives, focusing on GA4 implementation and optimization for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce operations. This role will be pivotal in driving actionable insights, ensuring best-in-class tracking practices, and aligning analytics strategies with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Google Analytics (GA4) Strategy & Management:
Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to support advanced eCommerce tracking. Define and optimize data collection frameworks, reporting structures, and dashboards to ensure actionable insights. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics aligned with business objectives.Tagging & Tracking Implementation:
Manage and oversee all tagging efforts using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. Collaborate with developers, agencies and stakeholders to implement robust tagging solutions for website and mobile applications. Audit and troubleshoot tracking issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.eCommerce Analytics:
Analyze customer behavior, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness to drive revenue growth in the DTC eCommerce space. Provide insights into customer acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies. Partner with global marketing, IT, product, and sales teams to optimize campaigns and user experiences based on data insights.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the primary liaison between the analytics team, agencies and other departments (global marketing, IT, ecommerce.). Translate business needs into technical analytics requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in web analytics, with a strong focus on Google Analytics (GA4) and eCommerce tracking. Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tagging solutions. Proven expertise in the DTC eCommerce domain, including experience with customer journey mapping and funnel analysis. Solid knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven record of working with teams in different geographic locations Fully bilingual English/Spanish Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization tools.
