Position Summary
The Manager for Global Technical Services (GTS) IT Systems plays a crucial hands-on role in delivering IT capabilities and services that support our GTS functions, primarily Engineering, Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues to understand their information technology and digital enablement needs. You will gather business requirements from various business units and functional groups and translate them into delivered technical solutions. This position involves working both as an individual contributor and as a member of a team. Additionally, you will support the execution of Computer Systems Validation processes.

Work closely with application business owners, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with business representatives to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating those needs into business and functional requirements, design, and implementation.Act as the functional and technical lead (Subject Matter Expert) for designated applications.Execute application upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities either as an individual contributor or as part of a team to ensure the system remains current and secure.Lead small to medium sided project to implement IT solutions to meet business needs, working either independently or as part of a team.Ensure adherence to best practices and standards, supporting daily operations and future enhancements as a functional and technical expert.Provide comprehensive production application support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure system stability, perform root cause analysis, and implement break fixes.Monitor and improve the performance of IT applications, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of IT solutions, identifying and resolving defects and issues in a timely manner.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams. Develop an understanding of BMS policies and procedures related to computer system validation and IT compliance. Perform validation activities of Maximo applications, including generating computer system validation documents and conducting risk and impact assessments.Analyze data to inform business decisions and find technological solutions that align with business needs. Assist groups with data integrity analysis and assessment exercises.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.5+ years’ experience in IT with demonstrated success in delivering and supporting IT applications (i.e., on-prem and SaaS) and custom-built solutions and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providersProven experience in successfully leading IT development and delivery projects.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment, including collaboration with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Strong Project Management skills, experience with agile and scrum methodologies preferred.Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and of computer systems validation (CSV)Knowledge of cGXP and 21CFR Part11 standards.Demonstrated experience in delivering Autodesk capabilities and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providers.Why You Should Apply
