Safety first! You will provide primary care services to the site and co-ordinate and manage the site health program, including safety inspections, ergonomics training and ergonomics assessments, to drive a reduction in work and non work related injuries. You will as well undertake management of testing programs required by local legislation

Provide primary care services to the site and co-ordinate and effectively manage the site health program, including managing work related and non-work related injuries and illnessesCoordinate preventative health and wellness programs to drive a reduction in work related injuriesProvide Initial emergency response, resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or injured (trauma) patientsSupport the development of health related policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the site including the delivery of training where necessaryManagement , maintenance and administration of medical equipment and consumables in line with legal and medical standards including audit of equipment and storing, dispensing, administering and safe disposal of medicinesAssess plant risk for health issues or any occupational related illness, acting upon the assessment and controlling them through proper preventive measuresWhat you will bring

Relevant qualifications in the area of Occupational Health or claims management. Qualified Doctor or Nursing practitionerDiploma or Degree qualifications in OHS/Claims & Injury Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Rehabilitation or related disciplineRelevant experience in OHS (Occupational Safety and Health)Strong experience in an Injury Management & Rehabilitation role, ideally within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislative requirementsThe Purpose of Role:
This position provides leadership and administration to the overall LA Environment & Sustainability program by developing plans for implementing the 3-yr regional strategy, achieving consensus and buy-in from Region Leadership team against the plan, and actively driving the implementation of and monitoring progress against the plan and corresponding objectives.To ensure alignment with global, regional & BUs strategy and targets as well as to coordinate the support for the plan in a timely manner.The role will also mentor and support the BU and HSE Managers in the Region.Contribute to HSE cultural transformation in commercial areas (CS&L/Sales).Sets standards for performance and continuous improvement aiming LA Region Sustainability excellence.Provides Commercial Safety expertise and recommendations to functions.Be able to assess organizational risk and align the issuance of programs, control measures and training to mitigate risksSupports prioritization of capex spending for HSE improvement and compliance projects.B) Responsibilities:
1. Defines the Regional Environment/Sustainability Plan, ensuring alignment (where appropriate) to the LA Regional and global strategy.
2. Develops performance standards and recommends to Plants/Commercial areas how to implement the standards.
3. Conducts periodic assessments to monitor and aid HSE compliance to Mondelez standards.
4. Provides HSE expertise and seeks guidance from internal (or if required external) subject matter experts.
5. Ensures compliance and understanding of MDLZ standards, policies and regulatory requirements including for new projects and the management of change driving innovation and continuous improvement.
6. Develops appropriate local capabilities to drive performance and grow talent through training, mentoring & coaching.
7. Benchmark and stay up to date with the latest trends, research and best practices in Environment/Sustainability, sharing insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders as appropriate.
8. Is a member of the Regional leadership team and leads on environment/sustainability aspects and Commercial Safety of the LA Region Plan.
C) Career Experiences required & Role implications
1. University Degree in Occupational safety field, Environment, Sustainability or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in Occupational Safety, Environment, Sustainability.
3. Demonstrated team, and project management experience.
5. Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders/communities at all levels.
6. Experienced in Auditing systems, root cause analysis, risk assessment and project management.
7. Experience of working with diverse cultures and diving cultural change.
8. Availability to travel as required.
