Pricing Operations

Perform customer data reconciliation to ensure population alignment for impacted customer segmentAbility to financially model at various customer segment levels identifying sales, margin, and customer value impactsReview the population of customer contracts with ability to determine financial impact based on expected future market changes.Administer a segment wide rebate calculation being the key liaison between financial calculation, rebate payment, rebate accrual and financial allocations.Execute customer value reporting with the ability to communicate all known financial impacts to internal sales partnersPartner with Pricing intelligence to influence health systems and SCS pricing strategy for industry changes and market eventsAd-Hoc analysis that explains business changes, candidates need to be able to think through problems presented to management and determine what analysis answers their questions

Coaching and Mentoring

Encourage and facilitate skill development by identifying training opportunities and resources that align with individual career goals and team objectives.Assist team members in developing problem-solving skills by guiding them through complex pricing scenarios and economic research methodologies.Support the team in setting and achieving personal and professional development goals, providing encouragement and motivation for continuous improvement.Promote a collaborative team culture where open communication and knowledge sharing are encouraged, helping analysts feel valued and supported in their roles

Cross-Functional Collaboration/Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Sales, Pricing, FP&A, and Distribution Operations, to support the development of integrated pricing solutions and strategies.Work closely with internal teams such as finance, sales, and supply chain to ensure alignment and integration of pricing initiatives.Partner with the BI/Analytics team to assist in building dashboards that provide actionable insights for pricing decisions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the sales team to gain insights into market dynamics and address customer concerns effectively.Support the execution of contracts by collaborating with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.Assist in resolving any contractual issues or disputes in coordination with the legal and compliance departments.

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training –

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

 

Business Experience –

Minimum of 7 years of business experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on pricing strategy.

 

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

Knowledge of health systems and drug pricing dynamics, including regulatory and reimbursement environments.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive business growth.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$96,900 - $161,500
