Manager, Hospitality Revenue

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Hotel Operations, the Manager, Hospitality Revenue will strategically implement revenue management across all areas and identify new revenue opportunities while optimizing and expanding distribution partnerships. This individual will also act as a business development partner for the Office of the General Manager and will collaborate actively with key departments throughout Yaamava’ Resort & Casino to maximize potential revenue opportunities.Additionally, the Manager, Hospitality Revenue will oversee the hotel reservations team. Will collaborate with the Director of Hotel Operations to ensure that all standards and policies are adhered to and in line with Forbes Travel Guide Guidelines. This position upholds the highest standards of guest service and consistently delivers results that contribute to the overall success of the hotel and spa.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Develops revenue management and distribution strategies for the hotel and spa operations. Works closely with Strategic Marketing to identify appropriate offers for the hotel and the spa to maximize occupancy and profitability.2.    Performs competitive benchmark studies and follows market trends with a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.3.    Creates and executes fiscal reports for the hotel and the spa as they pertain to revenue and reservations inclusive of monthly financial summaries and an annual budget.4.    Maintains up to date knowledge of best practices standards and ensures they are consistently followed as they pertain to competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modeling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts5.    Ensures website, Mobil app, and Online Travel Agency booking process is maintained, up-to-date and functional.  Oversees and audits standards and operations for all on-line reservations.6.    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.

 EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business, STEM based studies or Economic Studies required.

Minimum three (3) years of Hotel Reservations, Revenue Management or related experience required.

Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience required.

Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Excel.

Knowledgeable of hotel technology: Revenue Management Systems, PMS, Channel Manager, GDS, CRS, Extranets.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

☐ Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.

☒ No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.
