Responsibilities
• Responsible for talent and performance management, learning, year-end compensation planning, and workforce planning within a business line or geography.
• Acts as a primary point of contact with COEs on program delivery issues and customizations for the business they support.
• Coaches’ managers and employees on development, employee relation and reward issues.
• May participate in the roll-out of wellness initiatives and onboarding activities for a business or location.
• Shares local intelligence and provides a “field perspective” on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on the local labor market and regulatory environment.
• Participates in regular meetings with respective client groups.
• Assist in facilitating performance management tools and processes including goal setting, coaching feedback, and employee development.
• Identify training and development needs for business units and individual employees.
• Drive engagement initiatives.
• Partner with Managers to determine staffing and retention needs and analyze staffing and retention strategy.
• Ensuring job description are updated and maintained.
• Act as an Administrator in the LMS.
• Participate in interview process.
• Proactively partner with business unit managers to optimize employee capabilities and deliver against business objective and priorities.
• Act as a first point of contact for assigned functional groups.
• Works with leaders in restructures to ensure fair and consistent decision making, prepares legal review documentation and participates in termination meetings.
• Maintains non-shared service policies.
• Assists in managing employee relations by investigating and resolving employee issues and concerns.
• Manage and support employee recognition programs.
• Have awareness of HR trends.
• Supports the development and drives the Talent Management agenda for assigned business units.
• Takes the lead role in restructuring activities to ensure fair and consistent decision making. Prepares legal review documentation and participates in all termination meetings.
• Proactively works with management to develop and implement key employee retention strategies, advises and counsels on comp recommendations for internal moves ensuring that performance management is followed through for all assigned employees.
• Strengthen overall organizational capabilities working with managers and leaders to include organizational assessment, organizational structure, workforce planning and change management.
• Serve as champion of company culture, modeling Company standards and deliver exceptional employee experience.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment law.
• Supervisory responsibilities:
o Responsible for oversight of a facility and/or managing 1+ HR staff member(s) under the supervision of the HR department head.
o Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
o Oversees the daily workflow of the team.
o Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
o Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
o Provides support and guidance to junior HR staff, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Required Skills/Education
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 8 years of experience working in an HRBP or HR Manager role.
• Understanding HR processes (talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, onboarding, training, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Required to travel.
Desired Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Learning Management System (LMS) and training experience is a plus.
Salary and Benefits:
• $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
