Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple General Managers across ASSA ABLOY Americas Residential business segment. This role will lead people initiatives, provide hands-on support in employee relations, and act as a trusted advisor to these General Managers and their leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people strategies, employee relations, and talent management. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with General Managers to understand business goals and provide people strategies that align with the business objectives. Serve as a key advisor to leaders, providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design and employee development. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and open communication. Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretations. Talent Management and Development: Partner with General Managers to identify talent gaps and develop strategies for recruitment, retention, and talent development. Oversee the performance management process for business groups, including coaching managers on setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback. Identify learning and development needs and provide recommendations and solutions that support career progression. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, guiding managers and employees through organizational changes to ensure smooth transitions. Implement strategies to promote employee engagement and morale during periods of change. Compliance and Risk Management: Stay informed about legislative changes in employment law and provide guidance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. HR Projects and Initiatives: Lead and participate in HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, culture-building programs, and process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA and/or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred. 7+ years of experience in HR management or HR business partnering, with a track record of supporting multiple business units and locations.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, employment laws, and compliance. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, change management, and organizational development. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data, generate insights, and drive informed decision-making. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of HR systems and databases such as Dayforce and Success Factors preferred. Experience working for a global company preferred.

Pay Range: $99,787-$146,355.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
