Manager, Implementation
What You'll Do You will be reporting to the Director, Professional Services. You will work from the Pune full-fledged. Avalara Professional Services team is looking an experienced Manager to manage one to multiple lines of business. The Manager will manage teams in India while interfacing with stakeholders in both the United States and India. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join an group of professionals dedicated to exceeding customer expectations in the management of complex projects and delivery of sales and use tax automation services. What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will manage operations performance with a laser focus on Turn Around Time & Quality. You will manage the planning, direction, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects. You will Work extremely diligently in managing several projects keeping in mind the timelines. You will create process improvement strategy and processes to aid and improve our performance You will monitor client projects and to keep projects moving forward. You will Use your experience to elicit requirements and document related business processes, propose/understand best practices for sales and use tax automation initiatives. You will manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders You will work independently with internal and external groups on multiple simultaneous projects. What You'll Need to be Successful Overall experience of 12 - 16 years, who's worked in Shared services model. Has experience of managing teams and engaging with Business stakeholders outside India. 5 years' experience as a people manager with examples of people development, morale building, and process migration from onshore (building teams, building processes). Can function as a true "partner" with onshore management. Ability to determine long and short-term implications of the proposed actions while solving the problems and a appetite for solving problems. Ability to organize, classify data in a consumable format and draw logical conclusions from the data and identify the options/solutions to address the problems. Set up and leading the way to collaborate with internal / external stakeholders towards strategic objectives and being able to handle conflict and facilitate resolution. Teamwork-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business development. Have managed leaders and multiple teams.] Experience with sales tax compliance Worked in a leadership role managing multiple functional stakeholders (internal and external).
