The Manager, Implementation Project Team will play a key role in sustaining the integrity and efficiency of the RSC Education implementation practice, ensuring successful client-focused project implementations using project management best practices, appropriate documentation, and ongoing development of the Implementation Project Team.
RSC Education will rely on this individual to lead and direct the Implementation Project Team, coordinating staff and activities to ensure internal and client goals and objectives are accomplished.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the Project Implementation Team, with a focus on excellence in delivery and client experience.Develop and refine repeatable processes and procedures for successful project delivery, including management of project financials and budget where required.Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports in collaboration with the Director, Business Operations.Develop an understanding of the Student Health Insurance business, our company, our systems, and our clientele, and ensure the team is trained in those areas.Manage implementation program for new and renewal clients.Refine (and create as needed) project artifacts such as requirements documents, design documents, implementation plans, governance plans, and organizational readiness plans for your engagements.Ensure AHP management and delivery processes are in place and being properly executed on client engagements.Qualifications and Requirements:
BS in Business, Project Management, or related field, or 15 years directly relevant experience.Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, relevant industry experience a plus.Demonstrated people management/team management skills, with 3 years experience in this area.Proven ability to effectively delegate tasks to direct reports as needed in a true “working manager” role.Must have ability to manage several short-term (3-6 month) projects with hard deadlines at any given time, react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently, and set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details / data / information / activities.Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook;Possess an exceptional customer service attitude, be dependable with a great work ethic, show demonstrated initiative, and display ownership of issuesRisk Strategies is the 9th largest privately held U.S. brokerage firm offering comprehensive risk management advice, insurance and reinsurance placement for property & casualty, employee benefits, private client services, as well as consulting services and financial & wealth solutions.
