Manager, Indirect Procurement
Job scope/ summary

This position provides procurement management support to the Operation Leadership Team for all Indirect Materials categories. In addition, the position leads sourcing projects, works with the Operations Teams to deploy category strategies, monitors procurement compliance to agreements, tracks supplier performance, and participates on Continuous Improvement Teams. This position also leads Continuous Improvement projects to build best class practices within the Procurement Function. Working safely and promoting a safe work environment is also a primary function.

Essential functionsProvide category management for indirect purchases, such as Packaging (cans, pails, corrugated) and Purchased Finished Goods.Establish annual cost standards, develop category budgets, project budget analysis and monthly business reviews, including purchase order price variances, cost savings projects, market index summaries, and project updates.Financial and operational analysis including TCO and capacity planning. Able to share work and conclusions in clear Excel and/or PowerPoint formatDevelop and negotiate supply agreements and monitor compliance to pricing, award volumes, quality targets, and all operating parameters.Ensure accuracy of data in SAP Procurement systems including pricing and standard costs.Leverage operational data to drive continual process improvement, including automation of existing processes.Conducts deep data dives to identify category insights.Lead sourcing activity, including preparation of RFI’s and RFP’s. Analyze RFP results, negotiate, and recommend sourcing awards.Communicate regularly and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers; monitor and improve supplier performance as needed.Ensure implementation of category strategy at the local level - work with buyers to effectively communicate and deploy agreementsMonitor key cost drivers for categories and communicate significant changes that could lead to risk mitigation or opportunity realization.Ensure procurement activities comply with all Masco policies and procedures including legal and regulatoryMaintain efficient and courteous relationship with peers, suppliers, and internal customersJob qualifications

EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION
