Manager, Indirect Sourcing

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Indirect), the Manager, Sourcing (Indirect) has a critical role to lead the procurement strategy for various categories within indirect spend such as Utilities, IT, Marketing, Equipment, etc. This leader will develop relationships with current and potential suppliers and work cross-collaboratively with various stakeholders across the Enterprise. This critical role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies that ensure cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability across our departments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage existing indirect spend contracts and supplier relationship for assigned categoriesDevelop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories within indirect spend at Panera, including IT, Marketing, Equipment, Development, Repairs & Maintenance etc.Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers, assess quality, and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.Understand all aspects of your service and product lines and conduct RFP/RFQ’s to obtain best value for the businessCollaborate with cross-functional partners such as Development, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, Legal and Operations to align sourcing strategies to execute key initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of products.Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to drive continuous improvementAnalyze purchasing data to identify trends, opportunities for savings, and potential risks in the supply chainStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform sourcing decisions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.5+ years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain or Finance strongly preferredStrong negotiation and supplier management skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savingsExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Proficient in sourcing and procurement software toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and associates at all levelsWell-developed critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsStrong time management skillsActive listening skills, including giving full attention to others in meetings, by phone, personally.Complex problem-solving; able to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsExperience in meeting with suppliers, presenting to groups, and developing business strategies to expand current services and identify new opportunities.Intermediate computer skills required (MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
