Manager, Indirect Tax

Reporting directly to the VP of Tax, the Manager, Indirect Tax serves as the lead indirect tax resource for the entire organization, with a focus on improving the indirect tax process. This role will interface with various business partners to accomplish the responsibilities of leading the indirect tax calculation and compliance process, managing notices and audits with tax jurisdictions, researching tax issues, and evaluating indirect tax requirements and risks across the Company for current and new business activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage timely and accurate indirect tax filings for the company and its subsidiariesManage the use tax accrual process in conjunction with the AP teamLead indirect tax process improvement initiativesRespond to notices and interact with various jurisdictionsResearch indirect and other tax issues for various parts of the organizationEvaluate indirect tax requirements and risks for current and new business activitiesAssist with a variety of tasks in the department, including business licenses and property taxSkills:
Indirect Tax technical skills and experienceProfessional communication skillsA high degree of integrity and trust in interpersonal interactionsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in an environment of constant changeProactive and self-starting problem solvingSignificant attention to detail Willingness to step into detailed work when neededExperience with Microsoft Office productsExperience with Workday/Adaptive, Great Plains, Prophix, and/or Onesource Indirect Tax are a plusEducation, experience, and training:
