+ Responsible for leading and managing the performance of the Inflight Daily Operations to support Inflight Base Operations and Flight Attendants with operational needs and non-standard events.
+ This job is a member of the Inflight Team within the Operations Division.
**What you'll do**

+ Work collaboratively and in tandem with Inflight Base Operations, Policy & Procedures, Crew Scheduling, Hotel/Limo, Corporate Security, Safety and other teams and effectively escalating to senior leadership as required
+ Partners with Labor, Legal, and People to interpret and apply corporate policy, procedures and the Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement
+ Works together with National APFA representatives to reach interest-based decisions for the company and Flight Attendants
+ Identifies, leads, and motivates a strong management team in achieving the department's overall objectives, while being an advocate for Flight Attendants
+ Manages the daily operation while continually seeking ways to improve processes, team performance and reduce costs
+ Lead multiple projects
+ Primary team point of contact with shared manager on-call rotation
+ Joint lead for Inflight in IOC Emergency Response
+ Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays if the operation requires
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years of relevant experience
+ Knowledges in DECS and RES
+ Previous experience working in the operation (IOC or in the field)
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures
+ Familiarity with Corporate Event Reporting System (CERS)
**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**
+ Ability to manage management, non-management and contract labor work groups
+ Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, planning and organizational skills
+ Innovative and proactive in addressing workforce issues
+ Ability to build consensus with various groups
