Manager, Informatics

Responsible for managing the design, and implementation of the system requirements of the Meaningful Use (MU) program.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Supports the development, and execution of clinical informatics initiatives, with a focus on process changes that utilize technology to improve clinical and business functions across the organization.
2. Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production or operations team(s).
3. Responsible for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
4. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
5. Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.
6. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Bachelor's Degree in public health, health information technology, informatics, nursing or related field.
2. 6 years of experience in healthcare related or similar setting including quality/process improvement experience.
Preferred:
1. Master's degree in public health, health information technology, informatics, nursing or related field.
