This role will lead the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) within CWT's Global Security and Risk department.Youwill support the global incident response activities which includes preparing, prioritizing, escalating, coordinating, and resolving identified security incidents. The roleofferssome exciting opportunities including the potential to develop your talents and skills with many different security technologies.

Position Overview

Identifying, prioritizing, escalating, and resolving all security incidentsCoordinates with internal and external stakeholders during all phases of the security incident lifecycleMaintain and improve incident response capabilitiesMaintain and improve incident response key performance indicatorsMaintain and develop automated incident response capabilitiesProvide input and support to adjacent security programs and efforts to include but not limited to Vulnerability Management, Penetration TestingProvide guidance and direction for vendors and the Security Operations CenterProvide after-hours support when on assigned on-call rotationIn addition, supports all aspects of a security event monitoring and response team. Seeks continuous improvement of security events and proactively oversees research to identify emerging threats.This position requires a creative self-starter that has the ability to think through a project from start to finish and has the technological vision to support the security needs of the enterprise.This position also requires knowledge of and expertise in various operating systems, software systems, hardware, and network configurations.

Position RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Cloud Security Certification (CCSP)and/or AWS certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months3-10 years of hands-on experience in all technical security domainsStrong technical background and great understanding of emerging security trendsBackground and style that elicits respect in the organization through management style, technical depth, customer service and resultsAbility to influence others where there is no direct authorityDeep technical knowledge of IT Network, Infrastructure, Software, Cloud, Mobile -Scripting, coding, or automation skills (Python, Perl, Java, .NET)Knowledge of various emerging technologies and adoption of security compliance initiatives to secure dataKnowledge of security related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
