JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Information Technology Director and in conjunction with user management, manages the tactical activities of the systems and application support group. Responsible for identifying opportunities, overseeing and coordinating new system installations, upgrades, enhancements, budgets, problem resolution and ongoing support for systems and applications assigned to the groups. Manages subordinates to assure the timely and accurate delivery of system and application support. Development of strategic applications, budgets and integration planning. Develops and manages against an application/project plan coordinating multiple project activities and resources as well as day-to-day work management of staff; and other related duties as required or directed. Maintains call-back and work schedules to ensure proper support of medical center activities. Establishes and maintains department standards, procedures and budgets.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education Associates Degree. Minimum Work Experience 7 Years Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Extensive knowledge of hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications. Technical experience with systems, networking, Active Directory, and user support. Strong Background in Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic, Excel, Word, Outlook and HTML. Excellent working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project. Excellent working knowledge of Citrix, Active Directory and HL7 interfaces. Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities. Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Designated Driver Yes
